Phantom Flex camera captures 1080p at 2,800 fps


The Phantom Flex camera from Vision Research is a super fast camera that is capable of capturing full HD 1080p video at an ultra fast frame rate of 2,800 fps. The super fast frame rate allows it to capture something that goes extremely fast, such as the lightning flashes through the evening sky. And once you’ve captured the lightning, you can even playback it in slow motion. Just watch the clip below, you’ll know how amazing it is.

The Phantom Flex camera has the capability of capturing footage at 1080p at the 2,800 fps with 1000 ISO sensitivity, allows you to have huge scales of creating and capturing perfect footage. You can capture at at 2560 x 1600 at 1,560fps or go faster with lower resolution such as 640 x 480 at 13,000fps and even as slow as 5fps.

The Flex camera also has an internal memory of 16GB or 32GB. This device also needs lots of storage as it captures at the super high frame rate, but no worry it allows you to use hot-swappable SSD modules for extra storage.
