Asus has announced their latest graphics card, Asus Ares 5970, similar to ATI Radeon HD 5970 which uses two 5870 graphics cards in one. This new Asus graphics card actually looks bigger than the usual graphics card. The Asus Ares 5970 graphics uses two 5870 graphics with their full power and speed, unlike the ATI Radeon 5970 which has the two 5870 cards slightly underclocked.
The Asus Ares 5970 graphics card has beaten Radeon 5970 in most benchmark tests and it works in the power range of 260W to 294W. Meaning it needs at least the Extreme Edition Core i7 and Rampage motherboard in order to make use of its full power.
This new Asus Ares 5970 graphics card is what all hardcore gamers need to support all the intensive graphics and animation in game play. The price has not been announced yet but it will not come cheap, and it seems that it’ll not be released in the US.
