
Meizu, the company behind the iPhone clone, Meizu M8, has now declared another clone for Apple’s latest gadget, iPad. The Meizu’s iPad clone is called mBook, it’s a real deal which has been made official by the company’s CEO, Jack Wong.
The Meizu mBook will come in a smaller size of 8.4 inches but it still offers the capability of playing back video at full HD 1080p, and is equipped with an HDMI out and backed with 12 hours of battery life. The Meizu mBook also packs some similarities to the iPad, such as the screen is a 1024×768 capacitive touchscreen and it has all the features of the iPad 3G.
The Meizu mBook is powered by a 1.5GHz processor, it has GPS and music playback capabilities. Currently, there is no word about its price and the availability.
