The Motorola Diving computer by Mario Icaza is basically an apparatus which divers can bring underwater with them to make a number of measurements and estimations that could even save their life. This little diving computer allows the divers to estimate how much pressure is built up and how much time the diver would need to take to get to the surface of the water, which would not harm him. This is crucial information, as the deeper the diver goes the higher the pressure builds up. So, divers will need to know how to adjust the appropriate time to reach the surface of the water without getting hurt by the difference of water pressure levels.
Anyway, the device is called a diving computer, which sounds little confusing which you’d have thought it was a portable computer that a scuba diver could bring and surf the Internet, tweet, chat and stay connected on Facebook while they’re underwater. But in fact, it’s just a useful apparatus for the divers.
The brand name Motorola gets associated with this device is because of it is powered by the Motorola MC 146805 processor, which is powerful and can operate with ease underwater courtesy of the intelligent apparatus design. The apparatus consists of the processor, LED gloves and the timer to time the diver.
Apparently, as shown in the picture above, you just need to wear the gloves which the little device is also attached to them, and you’d be able to estimate what you need while you’re underwater. However, the Motorola diving computer looks more like a concept at the moment.
