Hitachi Ltd and Hitachi Kokusai Denki Engineering Co Ltd will release a brain analyzer sometime in July this year. As shown in the picture the analyzer can be worn by the user and in contact with the forehead, which it can read the brainwave of the user by using far-red light technology.
The wearable brain analyzer doesn’t come in cheap, it costs a whopping price tag of 10 million Yen or $107,147 USD. And it’s meant for use at research institutes and neuromarketing, for carrying out brain researches and to read the user’s mind. The device is lightweight, it has built-in battery and it can be controlled via WiFi.
The expensive price tag doesn’t make it practical for any commercial use, so you should have no worry that your boss would force you to wear the brainwave analyzer one day.
