Scosche Industries have announced their dual USB charger for iPad, revive II. The Revive II offers two versions, which lets you charge your iPad at home or in the car respectively, as well as charging other gadgets like iPhone. This dual-USB charger features a 2.1 Amp port (iPad) and a 1 Amp port (iPhone or other USB gadgets), which allows you to charge your iPad and another USB-chargeable gadget simultaneously.
The two ports of 2.1 A and 1 A will not cause any damage to any charged devices if used mistakenly. If an iPad is connected to the 1A port, it’ll only charge slower, while other gadgets connected to the 2.1 A port will only charge at the same rate. The home version of the Scosche revive II costs $30, whereas the in-car version costs only $25. And they’re available for pre-order at Scosche but shipping will start only in late Spring.
