
Scandinavia HDTV is an Android-powered HDTV that was developed by People of Lava, a Swedish company. The Scandinavia HDTV will come in a few sizes, which are 42-inch, 47-inch, and 55-inch. Each HDTV is also powered by an 833MHz ARM Cortex A8 processor and it runs the Google Android OS version 1.5.
This Android-powered TV will come equipped with a DVB-T digital TV tuner, USB 2.0 ports, HDMI port and with the capability of playing back video at 1080p full HD. These Android TVs do not come in cheap, the 42-inch already costs a whopping price tag of $2,500.
The Android-powered HDTVs offer the flexibility of letting you download various Android apps from Android market and you can even play videos direct from Internet sources such as YouTube. The company will also ready their own apps which will be available for the users to download free and directly to their HDTVs. With all these capabilities, these TVs shall be worth of the expensive price.
