LaCie has readied their USB 3.0 Rugged hard drive that offers both super high-speed data connection and ruggedness to protect your data from getting damaged caused by knocks or drops. The LaCie Rugged SuperSpeed HDD resembles an inflated life raft, it has rubber bumpers surrounding the aluminum drive that provides cushion that makes it drop-resistant up to 2.2m.

The Canadian mobile operator, Telus, has started offering the Motorola Backflip smart phone, the third smart phone in its lineup that is based on the Google Android OS. The Motorola Backflip features the custom Motorola UI, Motoblur.

The extra screen of iPad makes it suitable to be used as a GPS navigation device. The CoPilot GPS app which has a version for the iPhone, has now got a new version for the iPad 3G, called the CoPilot Live HD. The CoPilot Live HD app has been submitted to the Apple app store and the company behind it, ALK Technologies, expect the app to be available soon.

iPhone will get a full 3D navigation map app which is called the Mapple 3Di and is going to be launched by Mapple Mobile in Korea. The application also uses augmented reality to provide you clearer location information for driving.

Samsung plans to launch a limited edition of its NX10 Hybrid DSLR, which comes housed in a white case and is destined for sale on May 7th. The white NX10 Hybrid DSLR will come in slightly larger size than the Micro Four Thirds camera but is smaller than the regular DSLR cameras.

Buffalo has announced their latest USB 3.0 external SSD, SHD-PEHU3, which allows up to 4.8 Gbps data transfer speeds and offers many advantages over hard disk drives, such as no moving parts and much higher speeds in read and write operations. The Buffalo USB 3.0 SSD is also compatible with USB 1.0 and USB 2.0, which is usable for computers that don’t have USB 3.0 ports.

The Chopper 2 isn’t the first iPad game that uses the iPhone as the game controller. The PadRacer, a racing game which has now been made available on the Apple App store, is better qualified as the first iPad game that uses the iPhone or iPod Touch as the game controller.

Magic Jungle Software is developing their iPad Chopper 2 game, which needs the iPhone as the game controller. The iPhone works as a unique control pad for the iPad, where it connects to the iPad via Bluetooth. Tapping on the iPhone screen allows you to control your movements in the game.
The Chopper 2 is the first game being developed and tested which uses the iPhone as the game controller. The game shows a small chopper which is controllable by the iPhone. The game will play on the iPad screen or you can hook up to a larger display such as the HDTV via the TV out of the iPad. The Chopper 2 is the sequel for the Chopper, a game that runs on the iPhone or iPod Touch which has been downloaded for over millions of copies.
