Lip-reading technology in cellphones lets you communicate soundlessly and securely

You may have been worried about the very private cellphone conversation between you and your loved ones or your business partners being overheard by someone nearby. So, sometimes you wish to just whisper on the mouth piece of the cellphone and hope the one on the other end to be able to hear it.

With the lip-reading technology, soon, cellphones will be equipped with the capability to read your lips and even you whisper on the phone or just move your lips, the person on the other end of the call will be able to get what you’re trying to say.

DX Antenna of Japan, has announced the DXBW320, which is dubbed as one of the cheapest HDD/VHS and Blu-ray recorder combos in the market. The DXBW320 costs 70,000 Yen or about $784, comes packed with a 320GB HDD, a DVD and Blu-ray recorder and even the retro VHS deck.

Mio has announced an unusual satnav device, Moov V780, at CeBIT 2010, which comes with GPS functionality but has a 7-inch 800×480 screen that also makes it useful as a media tablet. The little Moov V780 device comes with Web browser with flash support, Exchange-capable email, photo browsers, multi-touch capable music and a dedicated YouTue client.
