PQI H566 – world’s first USB 3.0 2.5-inch portable hard drive

PQI has announced their PQI H566 portable hard drive, which is the world’s first 2.5-inch USB 3.0 portable HDD that is able to deliver data transfer speeds of up to 5Gbps. These PQI USB 3.0 portable hard drives are available in storage sizes including 320GB, 500GB and 640GB.

The PQI UBS 3.0 portable hard drives also come bundled with security software, Ur-Smart and Ur Fortress, which provide enecryption function to let you have classified protection and personal privacy for your data on the PQI drives.

The PQI USB 3.0 portable HDDs weigh 200g and with dimensions of 128×82.5×17mm and they’re compatible with Windows OSes including XP, Vista, Windows 7 and 2000 and also Mac 10.X S/W OS. No pricing and availability have been announced for these high-speed portable HDDs yet.
