Ventev EcoCharge cuts down vampire power and charges two devices at one time

Here comes the competitor for the AT&T Zero charger, Ventev EcoCharge, which is another green charger that nearly draws zero vampire power, when no device is connected or the connected device has got fully charged.

The EcoCharge shall save some of your electricity bills if you always have the bad habit of leaving your charger plugged in when no device connected or the connected device has got fully charged.

The EcoCharge has two versions, one with the micro USB and the other with mini USB and each has a full-size USB at the top. So, any one of the versions allows you to charge two devices at the same time; a device is connected to ether the micro or mini USB and the other device is plugged into the full-size USB at the top.

The EcoCharge doesn’t completely eliminate vampire power, it still maintains pulling a very low of 0.025 watts; different from the AT&T Zero charge which completely kills the power when left idle and requires a wake-up period before it gets into action to charge your handset. The 0.025 watts are insignificant at all while compared with most Energy Star chargers that draw up to 0.3 watts when not in use. The EcoCharge is now shipping which both micro-USB and mini-USB versions cost $30 each.
