
Most solid state drives come in pretty expensive price but the newly announced OCZ Onyx Series SATA II SSD will come in pretty affordable price that will cost under $100. But there is a little sacrifice on the storage capacity, the under $100 price will get you a OCZ Onyx SSD with 32GB capacity only.
The OCZ Onyx Series SATA II SSD has an integrated 64MB cache, it is able to deliver read and write speeds of 124MB/s and 70MB/s respectively. The OCZ Onyx SSD has been designed with a reliability of 1.5 million hour mean time between failure (MTBF) and it offers three-year warranty.
This OCZ SSD will be available shortly and it’ll be priced under $100. So, if you want an affordable upgrade for your computer to have better speeds, this SSD should go into your watch list.
