3D glasses are what you need, if you plan to get any one of the latest 3D HDTV for your family. But these 3D glasses do not come in cheap. The recently announced Sony 3D glasses have got their pricing confirmed as well as the company’s infrared emitters.
There are two models of the Sony 3D shutter glasses, TDG-BR100 and TDG-BR50 and both are priced at $133. You’ll also need to buy the infrared emitter, which you need one to drive the 3D glasses and costs you $55 each. If you plan for an upgrade for a family of four, it’ll cost you a total of $587.
But if you plan to buy the Sony LX900 television that starts at base price of $3900, you’ll get a pair of free 3D glasses. Make sure you wallet is thick enough if you’re headed for an upgrade to 3D.
