The iPhone 4G has been accidentally confirmed by O2 that it’ll come included with front-facing camera for video calls. This was apparently hinted by UK O2′s newly unveiled SIM-only tariffs which have the key features indicating the next-gen iPhone to come included with video-calling functionality as well as the fact it’d be priced the same as UK voice calls.
Some more the system files in the latest iPhone SDK also shows trace of video calls in the next-gen iPhone. Anyway, it shouldn’t be a big surprise that the iPhone 4G to come with video calling functionality as video calls have been pretty common in many other handsets. Since the 4G is the new generation of iPhone, it should include those features missing in the current generations of iPhone, in order to make it appealing.
