We’ve seen a prototype that LG is working on and was said as the first prototype of a Windows Phone 7 series phone. And now it’s got a little more information about this LG WP7 smart phone – at least we know it’s called LG Panther.
The LG Panther still has very little details about its specs. What we’ve known so far is only it has a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash. Apart from that you can learn from the picture that it’s got a slide-out physical QWERTY although it has a large touchscreen, which makes it more suitable for business users who deal with more hectic lifestyle. As the quirky virtual keyboard on most touchscreen smart phones will normally hinder business users from texting on it productively.
There are also three physical buttons below the touchscreen of the phone, which are mandatory for WP7 smartphones and also the 1GHz Snapdragon processor.
The LG Panther should only be arriving sometime between September and November, when Windows Phone 7 Series officially launches. The price will most likely not be disclosed until late August if the phone is to arrive in September.
