The leaked Asus EEE PC 1015P, 1016P and 1080P that were leaked last week, have now been announced by Asus at CeBIT. We’re here to update you with more details.
The Asus 1050P (pictured above) basically has the same white plastic styling as the previous Seashell netbooks that the company has. It packs a 14hr 6-cell 63Wh battery and with a choice of processors from Intel’s latest, Atom N450, N455, N470 and N475.
The Asus 1050P features a 10.1-inch screen with 1024 x 600 resolution, 1 GB RAM, a 160GB HDD and backed by Asus’ 500GB online storage for backing up your files. It’s also equipped with WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, a memory card reader, USB 2.0 port, audio in/out and VGA.

The Asus 1060P Diary is designed for business use and it’s housed in an aluminum chassis. It has the same basic specs and choices of processors as the 1050P. And you have upgrade options to 2GB RAM and 320GB HDD and also Bluetooth 3.0. Asus claims the 6-cell battery life is able to provide 14 hours of run time.

The Asus EEE PC 1080P Prime is a super slim netbook that measures 18mm in thickness, is housed in a brushed aluminum chassis, and amazingly equipped with USB 3.0 ports and 10-hour battery life. The processor choices of the 1080P are Intel N455 and N475.
Other goodies include 1-2GB of RAM, 250GB to 500GB HDD, 10.1 inch display with 1024×600 resolution, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR and with Bluetooth 3.0 as optional. It also has a fingerprint reader and is bundled with Asus online storage. Although with some more details but disappointingly, no price and availability have been announced for all the three Asus EEE PC netbooks.
