Slacker Radio has announced the availability of their Slacker Radio version 2.0 for Android phones, which is an application that allows Android smartphone users to cache their radio stations on their devices.
Caching of radio stations means you’ll be able to enjoy the Slacker service even though you lose the signals, regardless of whether it’s the weakening in signal strengths from remote stations or a lost of network connection on the local transit system.
The radio caching also allows a copy of your music playlist stored locally and it also has a auto-cache feature that downloads your preferred stations through the night. This feature can be enabled in either automatic or manual mode.

We’ll always want higher storage capacities for computer and other mobile devices, due to the increasingly more and more contents that will quickly fill up the hard drives of your computer or mobile devices. In order to produce hard drives with higher capacities, HDD manufacturers will have to look into methods that can increase the areal densities of hard drives.
A company called Molecular Imprints has now announced a new HDD manufacturing solution, called NuTera HD7000, which is based on a new Jet and Flash Imprint Lithography platform and allows drive makers to build hard disk drives with sub-20nm lithography at production speeds.

Habey BIS-6620 is an ultra compact computer that costs only $300. And it runs super silently, as it has no fans but it’s capable of full HD (1080p) video playback. The $300 price tag doesn’t allow this Habey tiny PC to have a hard drive but it has memory card slot in front which you can plug in a CompactFlash and SD card.
