Habey BIS-6620 is an ultra compact computer that costs only $300. And it runs super silently, as it has no fans but it’s capable of full HD (1080p) video playback. The $300 price tag doesn’t allow this Habey tiny PC to have a hard drive but it has memory card slot in front which you can plug in a CompactFlash and SD card.
Although it’s housed in a super compact case, but it still comes with a 1.8-inch internal hard drive bay, which allows you to load up any flavor of Linux or Windows. Under the hood, you’ll find an Intel Atom Z510 processor, a GMA 500 graphics, 1080p hardware decoding and a single DDR2 SODIMM memory slot.
It also has a few USB 2.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, optional WiFi module, and the mentioned 1.8-inch HDD bay, and a CF/SD card reader. The basic model of this ultra compact PC has only VGA port, so you’ll need a converter in order to connect it to an HDTV. Since it’s super silent and occupies little space, it’s best used as a home theater PC in your tiny apartment. The clip below shows the smoothness of the hardware-accelerated HD playback.
