Verizon subscribers to get unlimited Skype calling on 3G smartphones in March


Verizon has announced for their subscribers who own 3G smart phones to get unlimited Skype calling starting in March. For subscribers who have a Verizon data plan, you’ll be able to make and receive unlimited Skype to Skype voice calls not only in the US but also internationally.

The users will also get upcoming Verizon Skype mobile app that allows the users to chat with other Skype users using instant messaging. And you can make international calls at Skype’s competitive Out rates.

The Skype will first be compatible for 3G smart phones on Verizon data plan. Models that are supported include the popular smart phones such as Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris, Motorola Devour, BkackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Tour 9630, BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry Curve 8330 and BlackBerry 8830 World Edition.
