Nova is a DSLR camera concept that was designed like a boomerang-alike by Erin Fong, a student of the California College of Arts. The twin-arm design offers a better grip and controls of the DSLR. And all the control buttons are right at the fingertips of the user.

Another advantage of this design is the two arms can be rotated, making it easy to be used by both right-handed and left-handed users. It also allows multitude of shooting positions and the two arms can be merged for one-hand use, like cellphone-style photography.

The design is of course meant for better controls but it may have some flaws while coming to mount a tripod for the Nova. And also holding the camera steady for long exposures seem to also impose some problems. It’d be more suitable for the point and shoot for quick snapshots instead of DSLR.
