Alcatel Lucent’s OT-808A is a mobile phone that comes in a pretty weird and square-ish looking shape. The OT-808A is a clamshell phone, the square shape of this phone allows it to fit a QWERTY keyboard onto it.
The OT-808A features a 2-megapixel camera, media player and stereo Bluetooth. The screen is a bit wider than most other mobile phones, making it best used for web browsing, texting and emailing. The OT-808A supports the GSM 850 and 1900, which is meant for the US or Canada. No word on the pricing and availability yet.
The square-ish Alcatel OT-808A phone reminds me the Nokia Twist, although they feature completely two different designs. But the kind of design shall make it smaller in size and fits in your pocket well.
