Mattel has developed a product called Puppy Tweets, which is a dog collar-attached device that your dogs can wear and translate his daily activities and barks into tweets on Twitter. The little device records your dog’s daily activity, translates it into pre-recorded tweets. And it has a USB out, which you can hook it up to your computer’s USB port to send the tweets to your dog’s Twitter account (Of course, you have to create a Twitter account on behalf of your dog first).
The Puppy Tweets uses sounds and motions to create pre-programmed tweets. Such as while your dog is running around, the device might generate tweet that says “I finally caught that tail I’ve been chasing and…OOUUUCHH!”. Or if your puppy is sleeping, the generated tweet will be ““Somedays it feels like my paw is permanently on the snooze button!”.
It’s fun, the little Puppy Tweets costs only $29, and will be available in the stores this fall. It’s best used to monitor your dogs’ daily activities or perhaps to learn more what they like and dislike.
