Sony Ericsson Kurara now known as Vivaz, accidentally announced early

Sony Ericsson Kurara is one of the SE phones that was leaked over the Internet a couple of months ago. And now this phone has been given a new name called SE Vivaz and announced earlier accidentally by the press release company.

The Sony Ericsson Kurara aka Vivaz is a Symbian S-60 phone, packs with an 8.1 megapixel camera, GPS, 802.11 WiFi b/g and Blue connectivity. The SE Vivaz uses microSD/microSDHC memory cards but has dropped the use of Memory Stick Micro (M2) cards. It’s equipped with a 3.5-inch 360×640 touchscreen display.

The 8.1-megapixel camera of the Vivaz supports lots of goodies including the capability of recording video at HD 720p (and also playback), auto-focus, face detection, smile detection, geotagging, image stabilization and digital zoom. It’s backed with an LED flash. It’s available in four colors, which are Silver Moon, Cosmic Black, Galaxy Blue and Venus Ruby. And ready to be released in Q1 of 2010 at between $670 and $750.
