Remote health-monitoring system now comes in the form of sensor, which allows the patient to simply stick it on the chest to let the physicians or the family monitor their health on a 24×7 basis.
The sensor-based health monitoring system was developed by Advanced Institute of Wearable Environmental Information Networks and is being marketed by Marubeni, a Japanese firm.
The little sensor measures only 3×3cm and is 5mm thick, allows the operators to check vital signs of a person, including the body temperature, heart rate etc. The collected information will be sent to a computer nearby, so the medical professionals can analyze the data using special software.
The sensor-based health monitoring system is more convenient than others as there isn’t anything that the wearer has to do to operate the system. The technology is already being marketed in Japan, which each sensor sells at $350. The little downside is the wearer needs to be close to the computer, hence lessens the mobility of the user.

it is very interesting research, may I ask you which kind of sensor do you use in the exploration?
