Here comes the Philips PET749 Portable DVD Player, which has a built-in digital TV tuner that allows you to tune into digital TV broadcast in the air besides playing back DVD discs.
The device is equipped with a 7-inch LCD display that boasts a resolution of 800×480, and you can playback various formats of media including DVD, DVD+/-R/RW, VCD, CD, CD-R/RW.
It also supports playback of MP3 CD, DivX video and JPEG images. The Philips PET749 comes with a built-in rechargeable battery that allows up to three hours of video playback. It’ll be out in March and priced at $179.99.
