If messaging or texting on the iPhone is kind of painful, you may love to turn the iPhone into a full-sized PC QWERTY keyboard. Although it sounds little absurd of doing so, as the iPhone is meant to be portable but it isn’t impossible. The Ion iType is just the right gear that you need to transform your iPhone into a full computer QWERTY.
The Ion iType apparently has a slot above the keys which you can slot in your iPhone. There are some downsides – you can’t directly input texts using the iType on any applications. As Apple does not allow a third-party device to act as an input for the iPhone interface, so the iType must be used with the Ion iType application on your iPhone. Meaning you can only input text to the Ion iType application and then export the input texts via email or do a copy and paste onto another application afterwards.
But if you’re someone who’s only used to typing on a full-sized computer keyboard, the Ion iType will then be a must-have accessory for your iPhone. Or you have big fingers, can hardly operate on the iPhone’s touchscreen. The iType is priced around $100 only.
