Most digital photo frames simply play slideshows of your photos, which are kind of boring to get you to sit in front of them watching the photos play back. But it’d be exceptional, if they could add some special effects to the photos. Casio has showed off their new Digital Art Frame at CES, which is a photo frame that allows the user to add some special effects to the photos played back on it.
The Digital Art Frame comes included with a a small collection of Photoshop-like filters. You can choose to add effects ( such as water color painting, color pencil sketch, pointillism, gothic oil painting, oil painting, pastel painting, airbrush, fauvist oil painting) to or perhaps even legofy those photos?
It comes with a remote control which you can use to apply those effects on your photos. The Casio Digital Art Frame has no touchscreen, most of the controls can be done via the included remote. And once you’re happy with the effects that you’ve added to the photos, you can choose to save them on a memory card. It’ll be available sometime this year but the price is not yet announced.
