
While most multi-touch displays support 2-finger touch input only, 3M has broken the silence by having launched their new multi-touch LCD display that supports up to 10-finger touch input and gestures. The new 3M Display M2256PW is a 22-inch LCD monitor makes use of the 3M’s Projected Capacitive Technology, allowing to support 10-finger multi-touch input and advanced gestures with very fast response time.
In terms of performance, the 3M LCD monitor supports up to 1680 x 1050 high-definition resolution. It comes equipped with DVI, VGA inputs, audio input, USB and RS232 dual-mode communication protocol and durable, anti-glare front surface.
This 10-finger multi-touch display is suitable for graphics-intensive applications such as CAD, gaming etc that may need all your fingers touching the screen. It’s compatible with Windows 7 and requires no third party driver.
