The Pantech P9020 is a rather odd-looking slider phone that has just passed through the FCC today. The device comes in a palm sized only, measures 3.67 in x 2.51 in x 0.58 in and features a 2.8 inch display.
Although the Pantech P9020 comes in a small form factor, it manages to squeeze it a full QWERTY and loaded with email, texting and instant messaging capabilities, making it one of the great devices for heavy texters. This little device is also capable of shooting still images and video.
The P9020 is headed to AT&T, it’s been designed to work best with AT&T wireless services, including the AT&T’s Navigator service, AT&T radio and access to various AT&T apps. The device also allows you to access the web, but it does not have a full-fledged web browser so you can only view web sites with mobile contents properly. It’s a quad-band GSM phone with support for 850 and 1900 WCDMA bands. Pricing and availability are still unknown.
