NEC has unveiled two new short-throw projectors, NP510WS and NP610S, which are great devices for offices that do not have much space. These short-projectors just need a much shorter projection distance, where a small room is sufficient for you to project a large enough image.
These short-throw projectors can also be placed in front of the audience. And the presenter doesn’t get the bright light in the eyes and some more even the people can get up without blocking the image. The two new NEC short-throw projectors have similar features. They feature the ECO mode which the lamp can stretch up to 5,000 hours. And the ECO mode also allows reduction of power.
Other goodies on these NEC projectors are a virtual remote control, closed captioning shoot, auto power on, remote diagnostics and autosense for easy PC connection. They all come equipped with VGA and DVI ports and also built-in Ethernet (RJ45) port. If you have a small office, these projectors are surely the ones to go for. Unfortunately, no information on the pricing yet.
