Some vintage SNES cartridges have been turned into external USB hard drives which you can get one for the tech geek or gamer in your life for this coming Christmas. These gamer hard drives come in a number of storage capacities which are 320GB, 500GB and 600GB and they all use the Toshiba 2.5-inch hard drive.
The SNES cartridge hard drives are directly powered by your computer’s USB port, and you do not need any external power for them. Super Mario World was chosen as the featured enclosure since it’s the symbol of NES games and loved by most of us. If you aren’t a fan of Super Mario, you can also choose other SNES game to be custom-made into the enclosure. A 500GB version of these SNES cartridge HDDs costs only $140.
