Joby has launched the Gorillacam, an application for the iPhone that makes iPhone’s camera possible to use for group photo taking. The Gorillacam has added a number of functions to the camera of the iPhone including a self-timer, time-lapse, and continuous rapid-fire shooting.
With the Gorillacam app, you can set a custom delay time on your iPhone while taking a self-portrait or group photos.
The Gorillacam app, together with the Joby’s popular Gorillamobile (a flexible stand for the iPhone) are great accessories that you must get your iPhone equipped with while go traveling, so you can have greater flexibility of taking photos. Read more in the press release below

In addition to the self-timer, the Gorillacam allows for extremely fast, uninterrupted shots, up to 1.6 frames per second. Good post – have you experienced saving lag when shooting at 1 second intervals? I’ve noticed it will cut out for 5-10 seconds at a time while catching up on saving the images. Unfortunate drawback, since 5 seconds is often too long of an interval to capture the movement you want.
