Buffalo USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter

Buffalo has announced their USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter, which should be capable of delivering super high speed of 5.0 Gbps. But Buffalo does not provide clearer information whether it’s an ExpressCard 1.0 or 2.0 device

If it’s the former, it can only reach a speed of up to 2.5Gbps. Only the ExpressCard 2.0 allows you to enjoy data transfer speed up to 5Gbps. It offers 2 USB 3.0 ports which are also compatible with USB 2.0 devices (but only at much lower speed of 480Mbps only).

This USB 3.0 ExpressCard adapter allows your old laptop to have USB 3.0 ports, so you can hook up external USB 3.0 devices to your laptop to enjoy up to 5.0 Gbps data transfer speed. The device is compatible with Windows 7, Vista for both 32 and 64-bit versions and also XP.
