
CompuLab has got an extra tiny PC, fit-PC2i, which packs pretty good features. The fit-PC2i measures only 4- x 4.5- x 1.05-inches, weights 13 ounces and is built from a 100 percent aluminum die-cast body. But it manages to squeeze in an Intel Atom Z5xx CPU (1GHz to 2.2GHz), 2GB DDR2 RAM, and offers room for a 2.5-inch HDD.
Other features include a microSD card slot, USB 2.0 port, audio input/output, dual Gigabit Ethernet adapters, built-in WiFi, and an integrated GMA500 graphics with DVI output, that is capable of 1920 x 1200 with an HDMI connector.
This mini nettop will arrive in January next year, and offers choices of operating systems including Ubuntu Linux, Windows 7 and Windows Server. The power consumption is low, which requires 8W at full load. The specs at a glance are as follows:
