An old Commodore SQ 1000 electric typewriter has been turned into a typewriter capable of printing your tweets that come in. This sounds little crazy, although it could be deemed little innovative for having combined the old and new techs.
Does it make some noise, having a typewriter to print out your tweets? This typewriter is hooked up with an Arduino that has an Ethernet Shield for connection to the Internet. Well, it’s a good experiment which you could exercise your brain with the Arduino and the Twitter API.
They’ve even extended it to having a video camera and projector set up to record and project the typewritten paper; so you could see those tweets on a much larger screen. Watch the clip below showing how it works.
