Water-powered gadgets are not new to us. Clock should need very little electricity to keep it ticking and the chemical reaction of electrons in water is sufficient to drive a clock. Here comes another water-powered clock which comes shaped like a soft drink can, which you can consider to add little uniqueness to your desk.
The Water-powered clock needs to be refilled with water once every 6 months to keep it running. It can be considered a green tech as it doesn’t emit any waste, simply uses electrochemical technology to power the digital display. Unfortunately, water is still not powerful enough to let the clock have more features such as working as an alarm.
The can-shaped clock is available in four colors, which each runs you around USD $17. A considerable, have one to start telling your kids how water can power gadgets, which may get them be more creative to get liquid to power bigger gears.

these clocks are powered by a block of zinc which is dissolved in the water, the water is just a conductor. there are, of course, chemical reactions and electrons involved in the process, but it’s a bit misleading to call it water powered.
