
Here comes the Milky way alarm clock which looks more like a piece of art than a timepiece. The alarm clock claims its shape reflects the duality and unity of sleep/wake cycle. This alarm clock needs turning motions for it to work, such as turning motion that triggers the snooze function and another turning motion to set the time and alarm on its reflective surface.

The Milky way alarm clock is the design of Swedish designer Henrik Amberla. No much idea why it’s called Milky Way. Perhaps it’s because of it’s in little milky color or it is a small replica of the Milky way the goes across the clear night sky. Watch the video of the alarm clock in action below:
