Thecus N0204 is a NAS that just comes in the size of a standard USB hard drive which definitely qualifies it as the world’s smallest NAS. With such a small and portable size, you’ll be able to carry it around to share and store contents with your buddies around.
The Thecus N0204 NAS uses either 2.5-inch HDD or SSD drives and supports up to a maximum capacity of 1TB. It has two bays only, which you can only configure it at RAID 0, 1, or JBOD. Fancier RAIDs such as 0+1, 5 are not possible. The Thecus N0204 comes in highly affordable price, runs you only $150 but please note that no hard drives are included with this price.
This little NAS can also work as a print server and is compatible with Mac and PC networks. It supports WiFi or can be connected to wired Gigabit LAN via the Ethernet connection on the back of the unit.
