
If you’ve been eying for a compact and budget media server or nettop for your home, the Dell Inspiron Zino HD (Inspiron 400) nettop PC or HTPC should be one of the best choices. It just gets released in the US market which starts at a price of $299.
The Inspiron Zino HD nettop is stuffed with an AMD Athlon 2650e 1.6GHz processor, 2GB RAM, ATI Radeon 3200 graphics card. It also packs a 7200RPM 250GB HDD and an 8X DVD burner. Unfortunately the base model lacks WiFi connectivity, if you want WiFi, you’ll need to get the $399 model which comes with 3G RAM and Athlon 2850e processor.
These Inspiron Zino nettops are ready for connections to external HD displays, come equipped with HDMI connectors and also two eSATA connectors and 4 USB ports for hooking up to more storage drives. It can be pre-loaded with Windows 7/Vista or Ubuntu Linux 9.0.4. Options include AMD Athlon 2850e/X2 3250e/Neo X2 6850e, ATI Radeon HD4330 graphics card, up to 8GB DDR2 RAM and 1TB hard drive.
It’s super compact, measures only 8″ by 8″, offers 10 optional interchangeable colors and designs that shall blend well with your home decors and furniture.
