NEC’s Aterm WM3300R claims to be the world’s smallest WiMAX router with wireless LAN support. This little router is almost palm-sized, measures at only 94mm x 67mm x 22mm and weights for 145grams.

With the Aterm WM3300R WiMAX router, you’ll be able to share your WiMAX Internet connection with a few of your pals who connect via WiFi. The NEC WiMAX router can also be connected to your computer directly as a WiMAX USB adapter via the USB port. The device is definitely a great one to bring on the run. It’s powered by an internal lithium-ion battery that provides 2.5 hours of continuous use. It’ll be available in early November in Japan for 25,000 Yen or around $272.
