Asus desktop supercomputer costs 14500
Supercomputers are now easily available for your desk. Besides SGI, Asus has also announced their Asus ESC 1000 supercomputer that also fits well on your desk.

The Asus ESC 1000 desktop supercomputer is able to deliver an amazing speed of 1.1 teraflops, which has been achieved by the mixed configuration of a 3.3 GHz Intel LGA1366 Xeon W3580 server processor, 960 cores inside three Nvidia Tesla c1060 graphics processing cards coupled with a Quadro FX5800 GPU.

The RAM, HDD and power supply of this system are massive too, they are 24GB DDR3 1333 MHz RAM, 500GB SATA II HDD and 1100 watt high-capacity power supply respectively. With all these super components stuffed in it, it will definitely not come cheap, costs a massive $14,500.
