Sony has announced a new digital photo frame, DPP-F700, comes with a built-in printer. The digital frame could be handy for your visitors who have the “urge” to take a print of your photos after viewing the interesting slide show of your lovely photos.
The printer of the DPP-F700 digital frame is able to print 6×4 inch, 300-dpi photos in about 45 seconds. The digital frame itself has a 7-inch LCD display that has a resolution of 800×480. It’s not a touch display but it is equipped with a number of buttons at the right side which let you edit or make basic corrections of the photos before printing them.
The Sony DPP-F700 allows you to load your photos onto it via memory cards (SD, CF, Memory Stick…), USB or from a PC. Digital photo frames are normally nothing more interesting than displaying your photos. Adding a printer makes it a little bit more useful. Perhaps some small businesses can have the DPP-F700 to show off their beautiful photos at their outlets, and let the customers pay and print at their choice.
