I’m still lugging my iPod nano around with me because Apple hasn’t added this yet. :/

I hope we get some announcements in 2011. Maybe it will be standard feature for iOS 5??

What happened to this supposedly-just-around-the-corner-app? No news for 14 months now. Pandora and all the other apps for Internet-borne radio streams can not compensate for lack of broadcast FM-signal LOCAL radio. I wonder if current iPhone/iPod Touch may lack some specific hardware components which is what prevents Apple from adding this useful function to the iOS platform…..

Ok this sounds really nice. But what I need is to get local FM station signal and the option to record while I’m listening to it.
Any clue when will that be available?

iheartradio and Pandora make this less important than for other phones possibly, HOWEVER I’m very excited to be able to tune in to the television signals broadcast at the gym and waste countless hours running while watching. That and only 2/4 radio stations I would like to listen to are available on iheartradio.

Well there is already the iheartradio application for the iphone and itouch…….i think that works amazingly
