Japanese wood-based concept cellphone

Touch Wood NTT Docomo cellphone
NTT Docomo in Japan is working on a wood-based concept phone, called Touch Wood. The Touch Wood phone will be made from real surplus wood. The project was spearheaded by noted musician Ryuichi Sakamoto and the phone uses interface inspired by photographer Mikiya Takimoto.

Sharp and Olympus are also in the list for making this concept phone to come real. The wood-based concept phone should be available for display at a few big tech events including the Telecom World 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland from October 5 to 9, CEATEC JAPAN 2009 at Makuhari Messe, Japan.
