
The PCTV picoStick is a super tiny DVB-T TV tuner which allows those live in the Western Europe to enjoy watching DVB-T TV on their laptop or netbook while on the run. The little picoStick also comes with an MCX connector and a flipping antenna that help boost the efficiency of signal reception.
Pinnacle also includes the TVCenter 6 software that provides DVR and time shifting function, allows the user to record the shows for later watching. It can record in a number of formats including DivX or H.264, MPEG-2 and you can transfer them to other devices for playback. And it comes with an additional software for editing the video.
The Pinnacle DVB-T TV simply hooks up to your computer’s USB port to allow you to receive the DVB-T TV signal. It supports only Windows XP, Vista and 7 and has been designed to run in environment with low resources, having no problem to run on a netbook. The minimum hardware requirements of this device are Intel 1.6GHz Atom processor and 256MB RAM only. This tiny DVB-T tuner will go on sale for a price around $80 in Europe next week.
