HP DreamScreen 100 and 130 are the more advanced digital picture frames that offer much more than what a digital picture frame is supposed to. Besides playing slideshows of your photos, it can even stream music, photos, play videos, connect to Pandora and do social networking.
Both photo frames come with built-in WiFi connectivity. The DreamScreen 100 comes with a 10.1 inch screen, while the 130 has a 13.1 inch screen and both come with 2GB built-in storage. They also offer external plugins of more storage such as a card reader and USB connectivity. Content can be loaded to the HP DreamScreen photo frames either through the storage or by using the drag and drop software interface on a computer.
These photo frames can stream audio, images but not videos. It also has great support of social networking sites including Facebook, Snapfish and Pandora which can be operated by a remote or buttons on the device. Unfortunately, they are not touchscreen-based.
The DreamScreen is available now with a price $250, while the DreamScreen 130 costs $300 but will be available sometime this fall.
