If you have naughty kids around, who share the same computer with you, you should find a way on how to protect certain files, folders or partitions on the hard drive, to prevent accidental deletion or loss upon virus attacks.
Here comes a little USB Windows IceBox or freezer, which is able to let you freeze or lock some partitions on your hard drive, which these partitions can be protected from accidental deletion or virus or malware attacks.

The USB IceBox comes in the form of a USB dongle, hooks up to your computer’s USB port and launches a software which then lets you choose the partitions that you would like to freeze or protect. When you’re away, your kids play with your computer; whatever they’ve done on the frozen partitions is temporary, which can then be easily recovered to the previous state by simply rebooting the computer.
It also has an option to let you leave some frequently used folders (e.g my documents and desktop) within the frozen partition open, so it won’t affect your normal operation.
