The Kymera Magic wand is a universal TV remote control that presents the users the different way of using it. Instead of having to push buttons on most universal TV remotes, the Kymera magic wand can recognize your “magical gestures” and respond accordingly.
The magic wand has a built-in accelerometer, which can interpret the gesture commands correctly. Such as turning up and down the volume of the TV needs you to make the clockwise and counter-clockwise gestures with the wand. Changing channel needs you to flick it up and down.
The Magic wand TV remote is able to recognize up to 13 different gestures, and you can some more custom program including big swish, push forward, pull back and multi-taps.
This magic wand is a real thing, it’s now available as pre-order on the company web site. I first thought this was just a conceptual gadget as it sounds too nice to be real. Anyway, it’s a real thing, which will start shipping on October 1. So start ordering one now, which you could then have a unique way of controlling your TV to wow your friends and loved ones.
