Everyday your surrounding creates lots of noise. Why not convert all the noises into usable energy to power your gadgets, lamp, TV etc. The Sonea unit is a conceptual device that can convert noise to energy for you to use.
This device should be best installed at super noisy environment such as construction sites that produce lots of noise everyday and the noise can be converted into energy to power those heavy machines used in construction.
The Sonea unit is able to convert each decibel of sound into 30 watts of power. The noise produced by an airplane taking off at the runway would be able to produce 240kW of power. Of course, the Sonea is just a conceptual device, and some more the figures are simply theoretical, it could result lots of losses in practical use.
