Sony VAIO-x 11.1 inch laptop ultraportable
Sony has unveiled their latest laptop, VAIOX to the VAIO family at IFA 2009. The VAIOX laptop is pretty thin, measures only half a inch in thickness and it’s got a screen size measures 11.1 inch, so you can imagine that it’s just slightly bigger than a 10-inch netbook.

Unfortunately, no official full specs have been announced at the moment. But I believe it would be more powerful than any Atom-powered netbook and with its compact size, should make it as portable as a netbook is. Sony also claims that the VAIO X laptop is set to further push the battery life limit amongst laptop.

The visual inspection of Engadget reveals that the laptop shall pack a pair of USB jacks, SD/Memory Stick Slot, WWAN SIM slot, folding feet at the base and has only one video output option – VGA. Official specs will be announced in October.
